India Becomes 2nd Largest Crude Steel Producer In February’18

According to latest data from World Steel Association, on expected lines India became 2nd largest crude steel producer in the world with February 2018 production of 8.434 million tonnes as compared to Japan at 8.296 million tonnes.

Indian crude steel production during Jan-Feb'2018 totaled 17.462 million tonnes, up by 2.9% YoY as compared to Japan's production of 17.321 million tonnes, down by 0.1% YoY
