ORANI, Bataan: The contractor of the P28 million bridge in this town asked for a redesign of the infrastructure after the piles to be used as foundation hit an old hard lumber underground. Bataan First District engineer Wilfredo Mallari said the construction was halted awaiting the approval of the new design and piles by the Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office in San Fernando, Pampanga. The bridge is expected to be finished within six months.
